Real stories about real people in our community – presented to the public for the FIRST time!

For more than 20 years, the Sexual Assault Center of Family Services has sparked a conversation about sexual assault through its Unheard Voices presentation in local high schools.

Using a combination of dramatic monologues and experts in law enforcement and victim advocacy, Unheard Voices: Let’s Listen will give parents, youth and community members the tools they need to start the conversation at home.

As you listen, please remember these are actual stories about sexual assault. The people you will see on stage are not real victims, but they are people who want to make a difference in ending sexual violence.

Join us and get answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about sexual assault. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of how to stay safe and learn what our community is doing to empower survivors and prevent sexual violence.

This special presentation in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month is designed for children age 12 and up. It is recommended that children under age 16 be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Advocates will be available during and after the program for anyone who needs them.
