The historic Meyer Theatre, once a vaudeville house and movie palace, is breathtaking with its architectural grandeur, elegance and air of distinction. Since 1930, it has been a place to gather and celebrate. With seating for up to 1,000 guests, it’s the perfect backdrop for wedding ceremonies, corporate meetings, and special events. The many amenities include special lighting, sound and use of the stage for a one of a kind experience.
Backstage is downtown Green Bay’s most unique event venue. Adjacent to the Meyer Theatre, it has its own unique, contemporary, avant-garde style. Have an idea? It will be created. Need an idea? One will be recommended. The room can be transformed into the perfect setting for business seminars, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties and so much more. Your custom experience and every detail large and small is handled by our professional and experienced catering manager, gourmet chef and staff. Special colored lighting, a small stage and even a TV mirror are accessible to make your event memorable. The space can accommodate up to 200 guests depending on the configuration.
Planning a smaller event? Ask about the Schreiber Room, overlooking the lobby of the Meyer Theatre. This intimate gathering space can seat up to 40 guests and can accommodate a cocktail reception for up to 100 guests. Perfect for smaller gatherings, business meetings, client receptions or unique dinner parties.
