Rob Riordan retired in 2014 after 37 years in a leadership role from Nsight and all of its subsidiary companies; two of which are Cellcom and Nsight Telservices. Rob is known as a futurist helping Nsight pioneer a number of new technologies and businesses. He continues his role with the Nsight family of companies as Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors. Rob is also one of the founding members of NEW Venture Foundry and a member of InterDigital’s Technical Advisory Council. A dynamic speaker and lively commentator on emerging technologies he looks six months to six years and beyond to help companies position themselves today for tomorrow.
His community involvement includes past president and current member of the board of directors for the historical Meyer Theatre. Rob serves on the board of directors for: Relevant Radio, the second largest Catholic talk radio network in the US; NE WI Legatus Chapter, organization for Catholic business leaders; founding board member of The New North, a regional marketing and economic development organization. He is a Knight of The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
Rob served as chairman for both the Green Bay Area and Pulaski Area Chamber of Commerce. He served as chairman of OPASTCO, a national trade association and chaired industry committees for USTA, WSTA, CTIA, RCA and WCA. He was recognized by UW Platteville College of BILSA with the Outstanding Humanitarian Award and Optimist International as a Distinguished Governor.
Rob has four children and three grandchildren and lives in Green Bay with his wife, Cathy. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.
