Jim Rivett is President and Executive Creative Director for KHROME, a full-service advertising agency driven by full-throttle originality and an obsession for creative details.   A respected creative veteran, his career in the design and advertising industry spans nearly 30 years.

A native of Green Bay, Rivett is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing. He then studied at the New York School of Visual Arts and at the American Paper Institute of New York, fueling his interest in graphic design.

Peers throughout the industry, including the American Advertising Federation, have consistently recognized Rivett’s creativity, vision, originality, and leadership. In 2005, he was selected by GD:USA magazine as one of the nation’s 50 “People to Watch” in the design industry.

Rivett is an active community supporter and a member of the board of directors and executive committee for downtown Green Bay’s performing arts venue, The Meyer Theatre. He was named by Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton to the Wisconsin Task Force on Arts and Creativity in Education, which has the charge of ensuring that the state cultivates the creative workforce and entrepreneurial talent necessary for it to compete in a 21st century global economy.
